Seriously Yummy yet Healthy Snacks

There’s always a time of day when your sugar levels dip and you feel yourself reaching for a chocolate bar, especially after physical activities such as a gym session. Here are a few healthy alternatives to get yourself slim:

• Fruit: Fruit is naturally sweet so will give your body a boost. Go for apples, oranges or bananas, all high in sugar and vitamins!

• Cereal bars: Usually these are full of dried fruit like raisins or dried apricots, which again are full of natural sugar. The oats will make you feel full and keep you going till your next meal.

• Popcorn: Actually very healthy as long as you don’t smother it in butter, salt or sugar! A little pinch of salt will go a long way.

• A square of dark chocolate: Real dark chocolate usually contains around 70% cacao. Cacao is very good for you, as it releases endorphins into your body, making you feel happier and boosting your energy levels — very different to most chocolate bars!
